The day starts with a drive
that is 1¾ hours each way. Boat trip is approximately 4 hours. There is a 2 person (or
$300) minimum to run a trip. Training, briefing and
equipment preparation will take place on the ride out to the dive site. Our dive will be in crystal
clear water that is 72 degrees all year round. The boat ride to the springs we will dive in, is short and on very
calm waters. Before long you will be in
the water ready to do 2 real dives in depths of 10 to 30 feet.
The best part is, no experience is necessary and after learning a few basic skills, you will be on your way down to enjoy the underwater world where there is a possibility of seeing the occasional Manatee!
Manatee season at Crystal River is from October thru April but are still seen all year round in smaller numbers. If we see Manatee it is an added bonus to our 2 dives as we cannot guarantee seeing marine life. We can increase the chance to see one if we set aside one dive and snorkel outside the spring area.
Prices for the 2 Tank Dive:
* $150 per person with a 2 person minimum. You provide transportation.
* $175 per person with a 2 person minimum. We provide transportation.
* $75 per person for certified divers.
* $50 per person for those who want to snorkel.
* $25 per person for those who want to ride along.
